IGD has been an invaluable technical partner in equipping the newly formed Judicial Committees of local governments with practical mediation skills, legal clarity, and inclusive dispute resolution mechanisms across Nepal.

The 8-day basic community mediation training by IGD transformed how we approach disputes in our village. Today, women and marginalized families trust our center to resolve property and domestic disputes with dignity and without court costs.

IGD's grassroots-to-policy approach in convening 7 provincial dialogues and bringing together lawmakers, mayors, and civil society leaders has set a high standard for protecting and expanding civic space in federalizing democracies.

Through the EU-funded cultural diversity project with IGD and WVAF, Chepang communities in Makwanpur and Chitwan were able to voice their rights, protect indigenous heritage, and establish community cultural enterprises for livelihood.
